Music and sound effects can be disabled through the Options Screen, which can be accessed from the main menu.
You can still listen to your own music if you like. We'll turn off our music if your music is already playing.

Here are some additional tips and responses to user feedback:
* You can turn off the clock. Press the "Options" button under the main menu screen to access the clock settings.
* To castle, touch the king and then touch the square you want to move him to. The rook will move automatically. Remember, you can't castle through check or if you have moved the king or rook involved in the castle.
* If you want a new game when the game is over or at any other time during gameplay, press the "New Game" button underneath the game board.
* If it is your opponent's turn, they have no valid moves, and they are not in check, the result is a stalemate regardless of the material difference or who has a more favorable position. Your opponent must be in check with no valid moves available for a checkmate.
