- New Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) instrument. This instrument is normally only found in aircraft! To see
the instrument press the "PAGE" button. The instrument shows in a graphical manner your vessel's heading (red arrow) as
well as the desired track and cross track error (yellow arrow) when navigating to a waypoint.
During waypoint
navigation, try to keep the body of the yellow arrow centered. If the arrow body is moving to the left of its head you
are deviating from your course to the right. If the arrow body is moving to the right of its head you are deviating from
your course to the left. The yellow dots show how far you have deviated from your course; each dot is 0.2M of deviation
with the default "maximum HSI deflection" (this can be changed in the Settings View).
- New waypoints can now be
inserted without starting waypoint navigation. Tap on the "Save and Goto" button if you want the original behavior.

This release brings a number of major and minor improvements:
- Magnetic tracks, bearings, etc: Now you can switch between true and magnetic degrees for navigation. The builtin
magnetic model allows us to accurately compute magnetic variation for any place and year.
- Vessel's past track:
The vessel's track for the past 12 hours is now maintained. [Please note: the application must be running to properly
track a vessel's location.]
- Main Chart View: A number of visual improvements have been introduced.
