dictate on demand mobile – the substitute for a Premium Voice Recorder
dictate on demand mobile is the professional Smartphone application for iPhone 3GS / 4, 4S, iPod touch (from 4th generation), iPad 1 and 2 for recording dictations.
The dictation application is optimized for left- and right handed use and provides the following standard functions: Record, rewind incl. automatic playback, insert, overwrite, continue, fast-forward, stop, save, delete and send. With Voice-Activation the dictation recording can be controlled by voice. Bluetooth headsets and hands-free car kits by Jabra are supported primarily. While recording, the max. dictation size for later transfer is monitored by the auto stop function.
Four recording qualities [8 kHz, 11.025 kHz, 22.05 kHz and 44.1 kHz = CD-quality / radio and TV broadcast quality] provide optimal voice recording. Prior to transfer, all dictations can be compressed with 8kbit/sec. = approx. 60 kb net /min, 16 kbit / sec. = approx. 120 kb net / min or 24 kbit / sec. = approx. 185 kb net / min, while the original recording remains.
Draft, dictation and transfer folder allows local filing.
The transfer takes place to app-predefined email addresses or iMail contacts, as well as via FTP and can be executed by means of a company –owned key highly secure according to BDSG, § 203 StGB (German Penal Code) and IHE. Transfer is possible via GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSUPA, LTE or WLAN. Alternatively, dictation download with a USB cable via iTunes is available.
Multilingual user interfaces, such as e.g. German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian or Arabic allow worldwide use. Every other UTF8 compatible language is possible.
dictate on demand mobile allows dictating anywhere at any time and very prompt typing of dictations by the own secretary or a typing service such as DictaTeam with one of the leading transcription systems. Background speech recognition is supported.
