Description

Emue is an authentication solution designed to protect consumers from fraud during web and telephone based banking and merchant transactions. With Emue, you control the authentication process by entering your PIN into the Emue iPhone application. Your PIN is not stored on your phone, however, it is used to generate a unique series of numbers that can verify the remote service you are dealing with or authenticate an online purchase.

The solution is also available for securing corporate networks and VPNs enabling staff to self register for remote access on a device they already carry. This greatly reduces IT support and operational costs.

The Emue solution is capable of performing the following functions:

PASS - a one-time-passcode (OTP) generated from a 4-digit PIN

PING - a bi-directional authentication protocol which provides an added assurance as to the integrity of a given website

ECHO - the telephone channel equivalent of PING, used to ensure the integrity and identification of two parties engaged in a telephone conversation without the need to disclose any personal details

SIGN - a process for combining multiple variables, including your PIN, to digitally sign a financial transaction

VERIFY - a method of verify the legitimacy of an electronic messages youĂve received
