What's New
Version 2.990 (Aug 13, 2012)
Updated the internal links.
Version 2.944 (Jul 16, 2012)
Added a lesson suggested by 'Lei Di', which helps distinguish between numbers like 13 and 30, 14 and 40 and so forth. However, this lesson is only accessible after an upgrade, given the range.
Version 2.942 (Jun 27, 2012)
No changes; obliged to make an update in order to add the French app description.
Version 2.94 (Jun 5, 2012)
Updated to the 'blackboard' style; added Lessons; now checks for a previously purchased upgrade; added toggle for the 'and' after the hundreds; please see bit.ly/englishNumbersPreview for a preview, as the upgrade cannot be reversed.
Version 2.92 (Jan 18, 2011)
Substantial cosmetic changes - compliments of O. - including support for the Retina Display.
Version 2.90 (Dec 20, 2010)
When skipping a question, records it as an error, as well as presenting the correct response (thanks to CB for suggestion). Added ability to upgrade via an in-app purchase.
Version 2.80 (Nov 3, 2010)
Added a skip button to both 'Listen' and 'Read' games, so you can skip ahead to the next number, if you're really stuck. And I increased the limit for this Free Version to 42 (I was being stingy in setting it to 20).
Version 2.64 (Sep 24, 2010)
Corrected small iPad-only bug regarding range.
Version 2.60 (Aug 27, 2010)
* Fixed bug that sometimes made iPad crash (our apologies).
* Added scoreboards to both Listen and Read modes (can be toggled on / off in your Settings). Can be used to
compete
against other players, by trying to get the highest number of correct answers in a row.
* Added 'Random' mode, as opposed to the default 'Guided' mode; can also be toggled in your Settings.
* Fixed it so that there will be less duplicate numbers.
* Added an error sound to the 'Read' mode.
Our thanks to several users for the above feature suggestions.
Version 2.42 (Aug 14, 2010)
Now a universal app, specially redesigned for the iPad while still compatible with the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Version 2.20 (Jul 27, 2010)
Added a few improvements, some of them user-suggested:
* Your success with identifying a particular number is now colour-coded, in both Listen and Read modes.
* In both Listen and Read modes, the selection of presented numbers is not merely random but presented in ascending sequence and 'intelligent', as based on your previous performance.
* You can remove a mistakenly inputted number just by clicking on it (thanks to VE who suggested it).
* Added tutorial alerts which are only presented the first time you play.
