Fare Share: 99.98% of the other tip calculators split a check evenly which sure isn't fair when you ordered the Oriental Salad and Beth ordered the Filet Mignon. Fare Share is a new kind of tip calculator. Easily enter each person's exact meal cost and Fare Share will figure your fair-share including the proper amount of tip and sales tax.

You can even email the details for each person, and if your device is camera enabled, include a photo of the receipt.

Fare Share (select Fare Share at power-up or after pushing New on the top menu tab):

1. Enter the name of a person, then press 'Next'.
2. Enter a meal amount. Press 'calculator' if the meal amount has multiple items or partial items (for example 'divide-by-2').
3. Press Done when finished entering people and their meal amounts.
4. Press Edit to modify. Touch any name or meal-cost field.
5. Set parameters for the meal:
---- local tax rate
---- tap or slide the tip slider for a percent tip
---- tap a checkmark to turn individual rounding on or off
6. Read each person's total as well as table totals.
7. Touch the bottom Email icon to see more details or send an email (with photo if camera enabled).
8. Return to the main page and touch the Edit or New buttons at the top to edit or start over.

Even Split (select Even Split at power-up or after pushing New on the top menu tab):

1. Enter your restaurant check amount (including sales tax). Hit Done when finished.
2. Press Edit to modify the amount.
3. Set parameters for the meal:
---- local tax rate
---- tap or slide the tip slider for a percent tip
---- tap or slide the split slider for the number of people.
---- tap a checkmark to turn individual rounding on or off
4. Read each person's total as well as table totals.
5. Touch the bottom Email icon to see more details and send an email (with photo if camera enabled).
6. Return to the main page and touch the Edit or New buttons at the top to edit or start over.
