Description
“Gantt Lite” App is a visualization tool that allows you to view your Microsoft Project file on iPhone and iPad.
It provides an interactive way to navigate and view your Gantt providing a holistic approach to your Gantt viewing
experience.
Gantt Charts is widely used by the Project Management community to manage tasks that is required to
complete a project. Each task on a Gantt chart is represented as a single horizontal bar on an X-Y chart. The
horizontal axis (X-axis) is the time scale over which the project will endure. The length of each task bar corresponds
to the duration of the task, or the time necessary for completion.
“Bird’s-eye view” window on the bottom right of Gantt screen on the App provides a holistic approach to your Gantt viewing experience, just tap on a section within this area to navigate the Gantt to that specific area. Calendar view and Critical Path view provides additional useful ways to analyze and review your plans on iPhone. This app has been tested with sample plans from varied industry and geography to ensure the tool works with all kinds of MS Project plans. The App works with MS Project 2010, 2007 and 2003 versions. Your Project file will have to be saved as xml before you can view your interactive Gantt Charts.
You can use this App in you work place by installing a small plugin that will allow you to download your work Project plans on to your iPhone securely. No xml conversion is required, the plans are directly downloaded and ready to use. Gantt Lite team believes in continuous improvement and wants to be cognizant to our user’s feedback and comments.
