General DB is a general-purpose database app for storing or tracking data.

NOTE:
This app is a free download but requires an upgrade to have more than 3 tables and 5 rows per table. All features can be previewed before upgrading,

It is intended for people who understand spreadsheets or databases. It is a database in the original sense of the term, as can be found at Wikipedia or in computer science. If you seek relational capabilities or a full DBMS, please continue searching for such an app and don't install this one.

It is designed for quick-use, where most data entry is 3 taps away. Simply add a table, define your table by adding fields, then add your rows.

You can press the info button for basic instructions. More instructions and screenshots are available on our website.

The fields allowed are text, number, date, time, duration, location, and photo. There are convenient buttons next to some fields for easier input.

General DB is great for tracking-type databases, where you have two or three fields, the first being a date, and the others being a number, duration, or location.

For example, if you want to track the time it takes to get in to work, you would create a table with a Date field and a Duration field. Then to add a row, you would click the Today button, and the Start button.

Table fields can be added or removed or even rearranged without having to create a new table.
