* Notification Management - Now you're in control of what notifications you want to get.

* Achievements - Get notified when your video reach thresholds of plays and likes.

- Find and Invite Your Facebook Friends - By far the most requested feature for this release. Now you can see which of your Facebook friends are using Givit and follow them. Want to make sure your Facebook friends see all the videos you post and share? Of course you do and of course we've got it covered! Invite any of your Facebook friends that aren't already on Givit. Look for the Facebook icon on the "People" tab under "Explore".

- "300" Effect - One of our coolest motion effects yet! "300" applies that awesome movie effect, speeding your scene up slightly, then seamlessly jumping to slow motion before finally returning to normal speed. It's a ton of fun to play with, especially for sports videos.

- Scene Operations - Ever wish you could take one of your scenes and duplicate of it or split it into two parts? Now you can! This works great for creating your own custom double takes for dramatic emphasis or for applying a variety of motion effects back to back for the ultimate in creative flexibility and expression.

- "Smart" Transitions - Sometimes scenes aren't quite long enough to have a full length transition so we've made the length of the transition dependent on the length of your scenes. Now your scenes won't end before the transition does.

- A few other little things…
* Airplay Support - Watch any video in Givit on the big screen!
* Long pressing on a transition will now allow you to change all of your transitions to the one you are pressing on.
* We've added a progress bar to the player so you can see how much of the video has downloaded while you're watching
* You can now open music files in Givit with any app that supports "open in" for mp3 and m4a files (like Dropbox or Apple Mail). This is a great way to get music that you may not have in iTunes into your videos.
* Bug fixes, speed and stability improvements. We're constantly looking for ways to make your experience better.

• Follower and Play Counts - If you have more than 500 followers, likes, video plays, etc.. those counts are now accurate.

First, lets take a moment to mourn the loss of emoticons (emoji) in app descriptions. I'd put a sad face on this line if I could...

Great new features in this update:

▶ New Explore Tab - See who and what's popular on Givit right now! The new "Explore" section shows you featured people and tags that we think you'll be interested in as well as people and tags that are trending right now, in the moment. We're always keeping our eye on new videos to find people to feature and by "people" we mean you!

▶ Custom Thumbnails - Pick your own custom thumbnail before you share or upload your video. It's the first thing people see before they play your video so why not make it make it exactly what you want? You want to put your best foot forward right? Right!

▶ Givit Reshare - Did you just watch the most amazing video on Givit and want all of your followers to know about it? Now you can reshare within Givit. Is there a video that you posted that you think everyone, everywhere needs to see? Encourage your friends to share it and watch your popularity mutiply! Your name and picture will travel along with the video in all of it's reshares and all of the comments will go straight back to your original video post. You're going to be famous before you know it.

▶ Redesigned Profile View - We've tidied things up a bit and now you can see stats on followers, likes and videos for your friends and potential friends. The profile screen also shows you all the videos the person you're stalking, sorry, viewing has shared to Givit.

▶ Control New Video Notifications - Following someone on Givit who is, shall we say, prolific? Or maybe you're following someone that like to post videos at 3am? Now you can turn notifications off for video posts on a user by user basis. You'll still see their videos in the following tab and everywhere else you expect to, just no "ding-ding-ding" if you turn them off.

▶ Play Counts and Duration - See how many times any video has been played and how long a video is before you play it.

▶ Tags and Users Clickable - Click on a tag or user handle anywhere you see one and go to the page for that tag or user.

▶ Add All Clips Button - Giving the editor some love! Are the video clips you're ready to edit already perfect or you just want to trim them slightly? Now you can just tap the box in the first tab to automatically add the individual clips and you'll be all set to whip right through your edit and get your masterpiece out there to be adored by the masses.

… A couple little issues we're aware of and have already submitted the fixes to Apple for:

• Social Accounts - If you dig down into your profile and try to add an account from the Social Accounts section you'll see a blank screen. You can still disconnect an account from this screen and then connect another account from the share screen.

• Follower and Play Counts - If someone has more than 500 followers, people they are following, videos (what, you've uploaded more than 500 videos?), or plays on a video the number will start growing exponentially to the actual count. Hey, it does mean you're getting more popular, just not at the rate the app is showing you. We just wanted you to know so there wasn't any unnecessary sadness when the counts display their real values when the update comes out.

Whew, that was a lot to get out there without the aid of colorful, awe inspiring emoji.

📷 Photos - Use your stylized Instagram photos to give your video some extra spark as well as any other photos in your camera library.

🐤 Enhanced Twitter Integration - Videos you post to Twitter will play in an embedded player in the Twitter timeline. Your fans won't have to leave their Twitter experience to watch your creations.
