iExit tells you what's coming up in real time when driving on the interstate. It's designed to easily communicate which upcoming exits have what you need, whether that's gas, a hotel, a rest area, or specifically a Starbucks.
Your GPS will tell you how to get there. iExit will tell you where to stop along the way.

NOTE: When opening iExit after updating, please allow 10-15 seconds for it to fully load. It may appear frozen, but it is working properly. This will be fixed in the next update.
Version 4.5 (Aug 6, 2012)
iExit 4.5 in the 2nd in the series of updates focusing on data improvement. This update has a few user-interface improvements, but mostly contains improved gas station data. Improvements include:
- The point-of-interest Details Page (the page dedicated to a particular business) has been slightly redesigned. The buttons (Call/Directions/etc) are now part of a sliding view, and certain businesses now contain a list of amenities.
- The following gas brands have been updated. Their locations have not only been corrected/verified, but a list of amenities as each gas station has been added to iExit.
•Shell
•BP
•Exxon
•Mobil
•Marathon
•Sunoco
•Chevron
•Texaco
•Valero
•Loves
•Pilot
•Flying J
•TA
•Petro
•Bosselman
NOTE: After much thought and looking at the data, we have decided to remove the current implementation of "Leave a Review" for businesses. It simply wasn't getting used. In the very near future, we will be integrating iExit with a reputable 3rd party review service.
Version 4.4 (Jun 28, 2012)
iExit 4.4 is the first of several updates that will focus on helping you find what you're looking for quicker. The next few updates will focus greatly on Search and Data Improvement.
4.4 updates include:
- Preset Filters for searching. If you're a truck driver, select the "Truck Friendly"
filter to only see upcoming businesses that welcome trucks. Same with "RV Friendly." If you're on a family vacation,
select the "Family Friendly" preset filter to see upcoming businesses with playgrounds.
- iExit used to have both a
"Favorites" mode and a "Quick Search" mode. Both were different ways to do the same task: search for a particular
business. Therefore Quick Search has been removed from iExit and the Favorites mode has been improved for quicker
searching for businesses.
- Several data updates, including the addition of many new truck-friendly
businesses.
Version 4.3 (May 7, 2012)
iExit version 4.3 allows you to rate and review your favorite businesses. Is there a restaurant with great truck parking? Does a gas station have great bathrooms? Let us know!
In addition to rating and reviewing businesses, you can now easily mark a business that is inaccurate (closed, wrong location, etc). We here at the iExit Team will see the businesses you mark and will update the database for the next version.
iExit is now on Facebook and Twitter. Follow us at @iExitApp and Like us at www.facebook.com/iExitApp!
Version 4.2.1 (Apr 9, 2012)
Version 4.2.1
- Some users experienced a bug where iExit would kick you off the interstate when passing an exit on a windy
interstate. This has been fixed.
- Other users experienced a bug where iExit would kick them off the interstate as
they merged onto a new interstate. Also fixed.
- Various data related updates
Version 4.2. Lots of good stuff here!
- The logic determining whether you're on or off the interstate has been completely reworked and is significantly
improved.
- When you pass an exit, it no longer disappears immediately. It now turns grey and stays at the top of
the list until you have passed it for sure.
- Much improved performance and stability with running in the
background. iExit used to have problems when returning from the background, but now it works much better.
- When
Background Alerts are enabled, Location Services will turn off automatically when in the background if either 1) your
location hasn't changed in a while or 2) you exit the interstate. This will improve battery life.
- Fixed the data
issue where some points of interest were missing in the New England area.
- Widened the Map limits so that you can
zoom out farther and still see pushpins instead of the "Too Zoomed Out" message.
- Fixed bug when trying to submit
a new suggestion through UserVoice.
- Fixed bug with background alerts not showing when they're supposed to.
SUPPORT UPDATE:
- Ended support for iOS 4.0 and 4.1. iExit now requires iOS4.2 or later (which 99% of our users
have anyways)

accomplishes the same functionality.
