Develop a sound command of German with the Lextra Vocabulary Trainer - German!
This vocabulary trainer contains the 2000 most frequently used words in German. With the In-App Purchase you can expand the package to the 4000 most common words!
There are 5 main functions:
*** Topics: Learn or review vocabulary in logically divided categories such as “Wohnen” (Living), “Reisen und Verkehr” (Travel and Transport) and “Politik und Gesellschaft” (Politics and Society).
*** Frequency: Learn the words in the order of the frequency, starting with one and ending with 4000.
*** Statistics: This nifty function allows you to track your progress.
*** Quiz: Answer as many correct words as you can in 30, 60 or 180 seconds! Choose from words you already know, words you don’t know, words from the top 2000 list or from the top 4000 list. Then, try to beat your high score!
*** Hangman: A sample sentence appears with a gap representing a missing word. Can you guess the missing word before it’s too late?

Each German word is provided with an English translation, native speaker recording and a sample sentence to provide context.

• Track your progress with the new “Statistics” function.
View at a glance all the words you know, don’t know and have not tried.
Each time you indicate that you know a word, the word moves up a rank – from “Known once”, to “Known twice”, to “Known three times” and finally to “Known three times or more”. Can you get all 4000 words into the “Known three times or more” rank?
Careful though, if you don’t know a word it moves down to the “Don’t know” rank. From there you start from the beginning again: “Known once”, “Known twice” …

• Navigate more easily through the word lists
• Want to skip a word, swipe the screen from right to left.
Want to go back to the previous word, swipe the
