Mosaic UK gives you insight into the demographic characteristics of postcodes and neighbourhoods throughout the UK. An invaluable tool that helps you understand more about a location and the people it serves.

Using data from Experian’s award winning Mosaic socio-demographic classification it categorises the UK’s neighbourhoods, postcodes and people into one of 15 broad demographic groups or 67 more detailed types. As most postcodes contain a mix of different people, Mosaic seeks to paint a portrait of the most common characteristics of each neighbourhood.

• Search for the Mosaic category of a postcode, town or location
• Rank Mosaic categories by their demographic characteristics such as age or wealth
• Map Mosaic categories around a radius of a postcode or location

Mosaic has been developed by Experian over 25 years of using publicly available information, as well as information from marketing organisations where consumers have given their consent for their data to be used. Sources include the Census, Electoral Roll, Council Tax property valuations, house sale prices, consumer and market research.

The information contained with Mosaic UK is updated every six months to keep you informed of changes to the demographic profile of a neighbourhood or location wherever you are.
