Description

My Overtime,

Time keeping and overtime tracking on the go…and made simple !

Does your profile match this tool ?

This app focuses on users working set hours in the office or from home and want to keep a tab on work hours against a daily offset. Many companies used to have punch-in and punch-out systems to record your time against the officially required time (offset). Nowadays your company may have given up this system with a tacit agreement. However, if you are one of those who are doing overtime on a regular basis and would like to be in a position to prove this to your employer for later compensation then this tool is perfect for you.

How does it work ?

You simply enter your start time, your lunch break and your end time to your activity and the app will calculate your total hours against your offset to produce your overtime (or undertime ;-) balance. Query and export a history of your balances and time-sheets. You can even track your vacation allowance (Activity Balance Report) and use it for shift work.

How is it different from similar apps ?

The unique thing about this app is that it focuses on your personal overtime tracking and does not waste your time with billing and project mgmt options which you don’t need (there are company tools for that). This app is so simple that you will spend most of your time tapping on just one page.

What else does it do?

This app works offline so you can enter and update your time from anywhere and anytime from the comfort of your Iphone. Local date styles are supported (MM/DD, DD/MM, etc) based on your device regional settings. There are quick view reports that will show you the total accumulated overtime and a history of your entries. You may also export this data for further analysis or reporting to your company or create a backup to exchange your data between your Iphone and Ipad. The settings menu lets you set your preferences (default offset, work days, activities, reminder, etc) to keep you focused with as little navigation as needed.

How you use it…for example:

You arrive at your desk you open the app you hit the + sign (to create blank sheet) or just use the 'Copy Last sheet' feature, you select the activity (eg. In office), you enter the start time (eg. 9am) and close the app. At the end of your work day you open the app again, you enter the end time and lunch break time and the app shows your overtime balance. Alternatively, you may choose to enter your time sheet the following morning for the previous day's activities, there is even a reminder feature should you forget a previous day...It’s a bit like your personal punch-in and punch-out system. Enjoy!
