■ This is a beginner drill for the “Nikkei Test, which measures knowledge and the ability to apply it to real
business situations. This drill has two modes: “Actual fighting challenge Mode” is a mini test that challenges at the
same speed as the actual Nikkei Test. In the other mode, “Deliberate study mode,” one can study deliberately by reading
the plain commentary on each question.
This application is invaluable not only for people thinking of attempting
the Nikkei Test, but also for those wanting to confirm their essential economic knowledge, sensitivity to economic news
and ability to transform their business knowledge into business wisdom. It would also be helpful for students to find
employment.
■ Functions
◎ Actual fighting challenge mode
・ This mode poses 20 questions in 16 minutes, conditions
similar to the actual Nikkei Test, which poses 100 questions in 80 minutes.
・ Questions are in five evaluation
categories – “basic economic knowledge,” ”business knowledge,” “sensitivity to the news,” ”induction ability” and
“deduction ability.”
・ The scope of the questions is wide, including world economy, domestic economy, finance,
marketing and technology.
・ The test ends when all the questions are finished or the time
limit is exceeded.
Then the correct answer rate, lap time and grade in the five categories are calculated.
◎ Deliberate study mode
・ In this mode the questions are answered slowly and deliberately. There is no time
limit.
・ The questions follow five evaluation categories -- “basic economic knowledge,” “business knowledge,”
“sensitivity to the news,” “induction ability” and “deduction ability,” just as in the actual Nikkei Test.
・ The
scope of the questions is again wide, including world economy, domestic economy, finance, marketing and technology.
・ The test taker can read a detailed commentary of each question and understand the background of the question and the
difference between correct answers and incorrect ones.
・ After reading a commentary, the test taker can keep items
of particular interest in the “Review box” and review them again and again.
◎ Review box
・ In this box, you can read the correct answers and commentaries on the items you put in it when
working in “deliberate study mode.”
・ With the “editing” button in the top left corner of the screen, you can
delete the registered items and customize the Review box.
