The Opera Softphone App is the extension of your company Opera PBX system to the iPhone giving you Fixed Mobile Convergence with Hold and Transfer of calls and presence information for colleagues. Enjoy all the benefits of your secure company PBX from your iPhone.

routed to your iPhone.
•All outgoing calls from your iPhone App will use your fixed Calling Line Identity number on
the Company PBX.

In order to connect the App to your Opera PBX system you will need to install an iPhone registration licence on the
Opera PBX. You must also program the IP address of the Opera systeminto the App along with the IP Registration Name and
IP Registration PIN. This is done in the main settings icon on the home page of the iPhone. Scroll down the settings
page to find the App settings. You may also need to Port Forward the internet router at the Opera PBX system. For

The Opera Softphone App uses VoIP
technology over both Wifi and 3G networks. Be aware that some 3G Service providers may restrict the use of VoIP or
charge extra fees for VoIP. If you have any concerns about the use of the Opera Softphone App over your 3G carrier’s
network, you should use the App on Wifi only.
