We have found a bug that will cause Palringo to crash while starting. Please do not update. We have implemented a fix and have submitted a new version to Apple to approve. Please wait for Palringo v5.8.3.

• As always, we've been improving stability and performance with over 90 fixes and tweaks.

We really love the iPhone 5 so we added support into Palringo :)

The ability to edit groups in-app has been well received, we've listened to your feedback and now admins can also edit group details without leaving the app.

The Messages tab now includes a filter bar so you can choose to see all messages, only private messages (PMs) or only group messages.

We like the image editor so much that you can now use it when uploading an avatar.

Chat Windows: Re-designed and improved

They're sleeker, more robust, and more usable. A progress indicator makes it clear when messages have finished sending. Sending picture and voice messages is faster and more convenient. Voice messages sound better. The entire chatting experience has been dramatically updated.

Photo messaging: An entirely new experience
---
Photo previews update in real-time as photos are received revealing the image as it downloads. Clicking photos opens a new photo viewer from which you can browse through other photos sent to a group with a swipe of your finger, or see a gallery of all other images in the same chat window.

Notifications: More control
---
We've updated the settings screen to allow finer-grained control over new message alerts. Choose to have voice messages play automatically, or select between different alert types for group and private messages. Furthermore, we will alert you when group messages have been missed while in the background, and when users join/leave your groups.

Privacy and Control
---
We've added the ability to block contacts if they're bothering you. Items in the contact list now show a clear overview of the user's permission inside groups and on the Palringo network. Administering users in your groups is now easier than ever, with revised context menus and admin options.
