With Patent Finder™, you can search the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) database for issued patents and patent applications. Patent Finder conducts its search using the USPTO website and presents you with results in a friendly format.

You can search by title, abstract, inventor, assignee, attorney or agent, primary examiner, patent number or application number.

You can view and save the details of patents that you locate including patent number, application number, title, inventors, assignee and abstract. You can view pdf images of patents that interest you and save copies of the pdf's for offline viewing.

To retrieve your saved patents from your device, you have the option of emailing the patent as an attachment or using a web browser on any computer on the Wi-Fi network shared by your device. Please note that any firewall between your device and your computer might interfere with this application's web browser.

While viewing a patent document, rotate your iPhone sideways for widescreen viewing of the document.
