We squashed a few bugs and made a few improvements…

• This update will fix a bug that hid favorite homes for a subset of users. The app will initiate the recovery process once you update. If you have any difficulties, please contact our customer support at iphonefeedback@zillow.com and we will help you with the recovery process.

• Notifications are now delivered directly to the Saved Searches section. New changes to a property will be highlighted in red. Saved searches will default to show in a list so you see new notifications and you can toggle back and forth between views.

• Homes will stay highlighted as you toggle back and forth between the home details page and the results map or list.

• We addressed stability issues and crashes that were affecting a subset of our users.

With this release we have completely redesigned the home screen and navigation for the iPhone and iPad versions of our app to make it easier to find what you need. Here are a few highlights:

• New home screen: Objective is to let you easily start a new search, whether it’s a home for sale, rental, or to view updates to saved search and favorite homes.
• Easier mortgage shopping: We added our popular mortgage calculators and ability to shop for rates from trusted lenders. Go from dream home to new home faster than ever!
• Improved filters: The for-rent search features unique filters for renters, including pet policy.

This release allows you to more easily clear out and edit text in the search bar. We also updated our iPhone full-screen photo gallery so you can now use pinch and spread gestures on both iPhone and iPad.

iPad users, the filters pane will now automatically collapse once you tap outside the search bar or tap a home on the map. So it is there when you need and out of the way when you don't. You can always explicitly dismiss it by tapping the List button in the top right-hand corner.
