___________________________________________________
A note regarding navigation since a lot of people are missing this from v2. Actually, it's exactly the same as
before:
- If you want Reeder to open a list of articles (instead of feeds) when tapping on a folder, there's a
setting for that (see Settings>App Settings>Open Folders as).
- Reeder offers three view/filter modes, the
buttons in the toolbar let you switch between these:
★ Starred: Only show starred articles / feeds with starred
articles
● Unread: Only show unread articles / feeds with unread articles
≡ All Items: Show all items,
regardless of their state
A note regarding authentication and application specific passwords (for Google Reader):
Reeder 3 uses OAuth2
for authentication and will only ask for access to your Google Reader account. The old version (Reeder 2) was using a
method called ClientLogin (with support for application specific password) which is not recommended anymore by Google,

A note if you update from v2:
This version of Reeder requires iOS 5.1 or later.
Reeder 3.0 for iPhone is a new, completely rewritten app. Google Reader integration now uses a different method for authorization, which means you have to re-add your account. Also, since most settings are now per account, these will be reset with this update too, sorry about that. The good news is that settings are now accessible from within the app.
Facebook integration for sharing is missing in this version but will be added later. If you rely on this
functionality, you might want to skip this version.
Version 3.0.1 (Jun 15, 2012)
- The "≡ All Items" view now shows unread counts instead of item counts.
- Option to disable the display of
counts in the app (see Settings > App Settings)
- Reeder now sets the selected view mode (★ Starred / ● Unread /
≡ All Items) globally, not only for the current view.
- Visual feedback when switching view modes (★ Starred / ●
Unread / ≡ All Items)
- Addressed issues with multiple accounts support for Google Reader.
