Target Pace
Want to know how you are performing in your activity compared to your previous activity, your street teammate’s previous activity, or compared to a target pace that you have yet to achieve? Now you can! With the new version of RunKeeper Pro, simply set your target pace (in the GPS start screen Training settings), and RunKeeper will coach you during your activity with audio cues that tell you how far ahead or behind you are from your target pace. Whether this is a goal for an upcoming race or another pace you want to train against, now RunKeeper will help keep you on your target pace during your activity!
More Audio Cue Customization
The RunKeeper Pro 2.2 update now gives you the ability to choose which audio cues you want to hear during your activity. In the settings, you can turn off or turn on your Activity’s Time, Distance, and Average Pace audio cue independently. You can also easily change the frequency that you get your audio cues, every 1,2, 3, 4, or 5 minutes or every ¼, ½, ¾, or 1 mile/km. The on-demand option is still an option.
More Accurate GPS Tracking
With the RunKeeper 2.2 update we have eliminated a frequent GPS tracking issue that has caused users to experience speed spikes and zig zag tracking issues. Before we asked users to turn the ’set clock automatically’ setting to off in the iPhone settings (iPhone→Settings→set clock automatically→off) to eliminate this issue. With RunKeeper 2.2, this issue has been resolved and you no longer need to the turn the ’set clock automatically’ setting off.
Optional 15 Second Countdown
With the RunKeeper Pro 2.2 update we have added an optional setting for a 15 second countdown before an activity starts. Turning this setting on will give you a 15 second countdown to get your gear ready before RunKeeper will start the activity. Many of you have asked for this so we hope you like it.
Version 2.1.0.7
Fixed issue around audio slowness, made improvements to battery life, and a few other small improvements.
