Description
The SkyMobile Application Server for iPhone/iPad is part of the SkyMobile framework, which enables the deployment and management of Enterprise mobile applications. The SkyMobile Application Server enables the iPhone/iPad to connect to the SkyMobile MEAP (Mobile Enterprise Application Server) thereby enabling access to back end business systems such as SAP, Oracle etc; and Enterprise business applications such as CRM, Field Service, Business Workflow, Supply Chain management etc.
Note that the SkyMobile Server and associated device licenses must be licensed separately from Sky Technologies. You must be an authorised tenant of the Sky Cloud, or the SkyMobile MEAP server must also be installed and licensed in your environment (on premise). The SkyMobile Business Suite cannot be accessed on an iPhone/iPad without the SkyMobile iPhone/iPad client, downloadable here from the iStore.
After downloading the iPhone client you will be prompted to provision the application configuration from either the 'Sky Cloud' or 'On Premise'. To access the public CRM application, select the 'Sky Cloud' option and submit the default value on the next screen. To connect to your own company's system, please select the 'On Premise' option and specify your SkyMobile gateway address and port details.
