Update 4/11/2013: Ookla has uncovered an issue when testing high performance networks on latest-generation iOS devices. You may experience improper results or failed tests in these circumstances. Ookla is working diligently with Apple to identify and correct the issue.

So... read any good legalese lately? Neither have we, and the blame falls on us for not sitting down and really reading through our recent Privacy Policy update. It would be easy to blame our lawyers, however, we should have recognized how agonizing it was to read and moreover, unnecessarily alarming and misleading.

It is now freshly written by an actual human being to explain clearly: We simply do not share any personally identifiable information and will use only 100% anonymous and aggregated data to provide a new Mobile section at www.netindex.com (coming very soon). If you are on a device running iOS 3.1 then please wait for our next update which fixes a potential crash bug. We are just waiting for Apple to approve it. For anyone else here is what was updated in version 2.1.2...
