Traffic Eagle is a smart phone application that enables users the first hand information about their surrounding traffic information includes police, car accident, and car on shoulder.
The live traffic data is fed by user community. Users may report an incident with only 1 click.
There’s a very special function that enables a user to call for help when his/her vehicle breaks down. Traffic Eagle will automatically match the user’s current location with the availability of rescue crews. The rescue crews database will grow as well to cover up more area based on users’ recommendations.
The user may share the reported road incidents on the most popular social network, which is Facebook, as reminders and discussions with friends.
Other than the usual traffic monitoring, Traffic Eagle also integrates with Facebook modules to enhance the user’s experience.
A user may checkin his/her current place with Traffic Eagle. The checkin status will be automatically posted on his/her wall. Traffic Eagle also comes with a feature that displays the user friends’ checkins on a map. The user may “likes” and comment on friends’ checkins.
