Description

Your iPhone can now feed you. No, your phone hasn’t learned to cook but you won’t have to either, thanks to the free, easy-to-use EAT24 Order Food Delivery & Takeout app.

Order food delivery from over 25,000 restaurants in 1,500+ cities, with more being added each day. Search from wherever you are, or wherever you’re going to be when you’re ready for some food. The EAT24 app remembers your preferences, which saves you time, and gives you coupons on a regular basis, which saves you money.

What can our app do?

- Search for specific cuisines, restaurants...even particular dishes.

- It has Yelp inside. See what the foodies of Yelp think about a restaurant without leaving the app.

- Eye Candy. Eat with your eyes and browse delicious food photos on the restaurant menu page. As if you weren’t hungry enough already.

- In unfamiliar territory? Search by your current location, order, and the EAT24 app will have it waiting (well, really the restaurant will, but you get the idea).

- Like to play favorites? We understand completely (Mom always liked us best). The EAT24 app lets you save your favorite restaurants so you can find them more easily next time.

- Do you enjoy entering your credit card numbers over and over again? That’s a rhetorical question, no one does. Which is why the EAT24 app lets you scan your credit card directly into the app and securely stores your payment information for you.

- Hate credit cards? Use Google Wallet or PayPal!

- 24 Hour Live chat and order status support. If it isn’t right, we’ll make it right. No robots, no problem.

- Cash back for future orders through our CashCoupon rewards system.

- Exclusive offers and content through our Eat24Hours VIP program.

- Take pictures of your food and capture the memory of your meal before you devour it. Because a picture is worth 1,000 yums, and because they make other people jealous and hungry. (And really, isn’t that the point of taking food photos?)

- EAT24 Notes. Write a note about your meal right on your phone and remind yourself to order/not order an item again. (Because hunger affects memory in mysterious ways)

- The My Menu feature lets you assemble an All-Star team of your favorite past-ordered items from a restaurant for easy re-ordering. And less thinking than ever before.

- We added the popular Tweet My Meal function, because everyone knows that if you didn’t tweet about it, it didn’t actually happen.

Best of all, once your order’s in, EAT24 handles every aspect of the delivery experience. Which means no more screwed-up orders. No more wondering where the delivery driver is. Just the ability to take back a few precious minutes of your day and enjoy. Something not quite right? Hit up our 24 Hours Live Support within the app and chat with a real human being about any issue or question you may have. We’ll make things right.

Tap, Relax and Enjoy with the EAT24 app.

What's New

Version 4.9.1 (Oct 30, 2014)

We killed a few bugs and improved iOS 8 optimization bla bla bla WHERE'S APPLE PAY? We know. We know. It should be in here, but the integration isn't perfect yet, and we don't want anything less than the best for you guys. It'll be here soon. Don't worry.

Pro Tip: Whenever you’re feeling down, just think about the fact that French fries exist.

Love,
@EAT24

Version 4.9 (Sep 18, 2014)

Remember a time when app updates didn’t have to happen every week? EAT24 remembers. Regardless, here’s another!

- optimized for iOS8 because technology loves cheese fries.
- added a map feature on the Order Status page so you can plot your pickup route with just a few clicks. Or if you’re waiting for delivery, you can figure out what direction the driver is coming from and stare that way out the window. Yay maps!
- got rid of any lingering bugs from the picnic we threw last week (and ate all the leftover fried chicken #SorryNotSorry)

Suggestions? Deep fried thoughts? Dating advice? Tell us --> @EAT24

Version 4.8.4 (Jul 09, 2014)

There was a bug that didn't actually do anything yet, but had the potential to affect PayPal and Google Wallet payments (A Pre-Bug, if you will) so we fixed it.

Expand notes
Version 4.8.3 (Jun 12, 2014)

Hi. Us again. Nobody actually reads these things, so we're just going to leave you with some very special advice Dad once told us:

It’s what’s on the inside that counts, especially if what’s on the inside is chocolate.

OK but seriously: We made a large amount of small bug fixes, which should equal a much smoother app experience. We don't actually have quantitative data to confirm this, so please install this update and let us know if your egg rolls are rolling faster than usual.

Enjoy,

@Eat24

Version 4.8.2 (Jun 01, 2014)

Hey there. We screwed up. Luckily our customers are highly observant and not afraid to call us out on our s***, so we were able to fix a critical bug (hopefully) before you even noticed it!

Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming ---> @Eat24

Go ahead and uninstall Candy Smush, BookFace, and Vegetable Farm Saga, because now there’s an even better way to entertain yourself when you’re bored. It’s called “What’s Good” and you can only find it in the latest version of the Eat24 app.

OK, yes, we did just do an update with “What’s Good,” but it had a few bugs, and a really embarrassing typo, and the feature may have been hard to find for some users, so we drew an arrow to it.

Update and find What’s Good near you.

Love,
@Eat24

Version 4.8 (May 26, 2014)

Dear Mouth of iPhone user,

You deserve the best. So tap the Update button RIGHT NOW (not with your mouth - we don't know where your phone has been), because our new feature is THE BEST (Sorry for yelling. We're excited).

It's a button called "Must Try!" and you can find it on the restaurant search results page. Tap it to unlock a magical world of PICTURES OF DELICIOUS FOOD that normally would be a terrible tease, but in this case it's OK because you can ACTUALLY ORDER THIS FOOD AND EAT IT. With "Must Try!" you can:

- explore popular dishes near you
- discover new favorites
- use it as some sort of strange torture device to make yourself hungrier
- exercise your swiping finger (totally counts as cardio)

Give it a try. Let us know what you think --> @Eat24

Version 4.7 (May 03, 2014)

Hi. It’s Eat24. No time for chit chat. We’re in a rush because we really want you to install this update. Also, we put a stopwatch on the checkout page (so you can time your delivery guy and help him set a new Guinness World Record), and now we’re kind of obsessed with speed. OK updates, GO:

-Food timer.
-Sign in with Google.
-PayPal: Log in once, set for life.
-Coupon code push notifications.

DONE. Boom. Thank you. And remember, dream big. Any pizza can be a Personal Pizza if you try hard enough and believe in yourself.

Love,
@Eat24

Version 4.6 (Apr 08, 2014)

Hi. Dr. Eat24 here. Do you suffer from Lumpy Pockets? Finger Fatigue? Pants lasting longer than three hours? Good news! The Eat24 app now accepts Google Wallet (but you can still throw dollar bills at your phone, because you like to party).

No, but really. Google Wallet is so popular in our Shmandroid app, we decided to share the love with our iPhone friends too.

Also, we added a Pick Up button right on the homepage, which means Easy Egg Roll Access for all those times you’re hungry on the way home, or when you need to find Cheese Fries within stumbling distance of Happy Hour.

So go ahead and tap the Update button. And remember: Pix or it didn’t happen!

Love,

@Eat24

Hi, it’s Eat24. We just wanted to say we love you. We know it’s kind of weird that an app is talking to you, but apps have feelings too. Yeah, sure, we fixed some bugs, and if you want your Eat24 app to be faster, you should update it. But really we just wanted to say

Hi. It’s us again. Did you miss us? Sorry to bother you, but if you could just lift your feet for a second and press the Update button, our Roomba will sweep up few small bugs. You didn’t notice them, right? Great.

Thanks!

Version 4.5 (Jan 28, 2014)

Oh, hi. We didn’t see you there (because apps don’t have eyes). Thanks for stopping by the What’s New section. No really. Thank you. We’re really excited to tell you what’s in this update, and we’re never sure if anyone actually reads these things. So thanks again from the bottom of our cupcake-shaped heart (because apps have hearts but not eyes, apparently).

Here’s what’s new:

- Apple came to our office with a knife (a sleek, visually stunning knife) and threatened to freeze our app if we didn’t (finally) optimize for iOS7. So we did, and it works way better. Thanks, Apple!

- Hit up your favorite restaurants right from the home page. One less click! You’re welcome, thumbs.

- Budget conscious? We added an option to filter restaurants by price. Because tax season.

- Badass new Restaurant Info page now includes:

- Share menu via Airdrop, Email, Twitter or Copy link

- Past Orders

- What’s Good: See top dishes.

- Option to Call Restaurant and get directions, or just say Hi

Version 4.4 (Nov 06, 2013)

Hello, and welcome to version 4.4 of our iPhone App. It’s weird, because this other big company just released an OS, and it's version 4.4 too. They called theirs KitKat. We’re calling ours Cheesesteak. Is this a coincidence, or is there some sort of deeper metaphysical meaning that will change the world forever? HISTORY WILL DECIDE.

Anyway, here’s what you need to know about Cheesesteak:

It’s delicious

It cures various life-borne illnesses including hangovers

It doesn’t get confused when you try to delete things from your cart (*shakes fist at math*)

Does it bug out on a search within a restaurant menu? No. No it does not.

Will it let you start a chat even if you’re too hungry to remember your own email address? Yes. Yes it will.

Is it even more optimized for data analysis than ever before? YES BRANDAN, and please put down the knife.

Version 4.3 (Oct 25, 2013)

Our chat feature didn’t play nicely with iOS 6.1.x. And by “didn’t play nicely” we mean “didn’t work at all.” This only affected about 8% of users, but we fixed it ASAP because we love 100% of you.

iPhone update. 2.0:
-------------------------
Hello, beautiful. Thanks for noticing our iPhone app. We’ve been thinking about you too, ever since the first time we saw you from across iTunes. If you already downloaded our app, thank you. We love you. Also, we’re sorry, because it had a couple small bugs (they were hiding in your ringtones, which is why La Cucaracha wouldn’t turn off). Not only did we squash those bugs, but we also added a few new features to make your mobile eating experience even more delicious. If you didn’t already download our app, disregard everything we just said. Everything works fine! Get it now, because it’s awesome.

Here’s what’s new:

• Good news for PayPal lovers. Now you can pay for your food with PayPal right from the app. No more fidgeting with your wallet. No more typing lengthy credit card numbers on a tiny smartphone screen with your large (but still incredibly sexy) fingers. Typos and payment screw-ups can officially suck it.

• We added push notifications so you’ll get friendly, timely reminders from us. But don’t worry, we’ll just be sending you updates about your order, coupons, and other exclusive offers. No booty calls at 2AM. Unless you ask.

• We always want to look our best for you, so we cleaned up a little and gave our UI a shave and a haircut. You don’t have to tell us how beautiful we are. We know. And as always, you look stunning.

• Some people reported that the app told them they were logged in, but when they tried to place an order, they weren’t actually logged in and the app crashed. That was a Jedi mind trick, and you all passed. As a reward, we fixed this issue.

• An error with the address search function caused us to forget your zip code, but we totally remember it now. We swear.

That’s it for now, but we’re still fighting the good fight against the evil bug uprising. If you find any creepy crawlers, let us know about it right here http://eat24.com/bugs/ Together, we can make perfection even more perfecter.

Hey there, food lover. Thanks for downloading our app. We love you, and we don't want you to eat bugs. Bugs are not tasty. Thanks to your feedback, we've been able to squash many bugs and create a faster, better, sexier app for you. Here's what's new:

Some users with multiple credit cards saved in their account (high rollers) reported a bug that wouldn't allow them to switch between cards. So we fixed it.

There was an issue in which our app forgot your address after you left the checkout page. Whoops. Food coma. We remember now, we promise.

The search filters were seriously messed up, so we smacked them around a bit and they're working just fine now. Tough love.

Some people were so excited about their order that they decided to re-order again right from the Thank You page. The app was so excited that it crashed. We fixed it.

There was an issue with pick-up only orders being submitted incorrectly. We fixed it.

If you find another bug, let us know about it so we can squash it. Together we can make a more delicious future. http://eat24.com/bug
