What's New

Version 4.6.131 (Mar 22, 2013)

Dearest friends,

We've got an update for you that fixes a bunch of little bugs that have been hanging about, and adds a couple of sweet new sharing options.

Pano will now let you know if you've accidentally restricted it from saving your photos, and we've significantly shrunk our iCloud backups. We've also made it super-simple to post your panos to Facebook and Twitter without ever leaving the app.

We've also been working on some other top-secret stuff, and we're so close to being able to tell you all about it. We can't wait!

Much love,

Your buddies at Debacle

Version 4.5 (Aug 10, 2011)

Dear friends,

We have some exciting news for you: there's an update to Pano, and (spoiler alert!) it's pretty much the best.

Pano 4.5 brings some awesome changes to the way Pano blends and stitches your photographs. This is probably the biggest improvement we've made to our stitching since we first launched Pano back in 2008. (P.S. Pano is nearly three years old now!)

Heck, we were going to call this Pano 5.0, but you know us, we're humble guys.

We think you'll find that the panos you shoot look that much more seamless and capture the moment even better than before. We've updated the images on our website to some newer ones taken with the updated algorithm (check them out!), and we'd absolutely love to see what you're shooting with it. Send us an email, twitter us a tweet or post them to our Flickr group.

We hope you love it as much as we love you!

Your friends,

Adam, Julian and Eric

Version 4.1.5 (Mar 16, 2011)

Dear Friends,

We've got a great big update close at hand, but while we're putting the finishing touches on that, we wanted to get something out for all of you. If you have a device that supports tap-to-focus, this update brings that functionality to Pano, so tap away to your heart's content to set focus and exposure points. (If you're not seeing the targeting squares as you tap, make sure to update your device to the latest iOS version.) We've also fixed a bug that snuck into our resume code (whoops!).

Your friends,

Julian, Adam, Eric

Version 4.1 (Nov 28, 2010)

Dear close personal friend of Debacle Software,

We hope these update notes find you well. Our latest update to Pano is affectionately named "4.1", and it adds a big, wonderful feature: EXIF support, including geotagging. This has only recently been made possible by new APIs in iOS4.1 (and it means you'll need to be running iOS4.1 or newer for Pano to be able to geotag your photos). In addition to geolocation data, Pano will add a handful of other useful EXIF fields to your photos. We've wanted this since day one and it feels great to finally include it.

Please do let us know what you think. We never sleep, and you can reach us at support@debaclesoftware.com. You can also "follow" us on "Twitter", as the kids say, at twitter.com/debaclesoftware.

DEBACLE OUT!

Version 4.0.4 (Sep 14, 2010)

Hey friends,

Here is an update to Pano that we made for you. Pano now has beautiful retina graphics thanks to Eric. We've also optimized for the new iPod Touch. Finally, we tracked down and fixed a bug that has been causing stability problems for some users.

(We should note that due to a bug in iOS, you may not see the updated graphics on an iPhone 4 until you install iOS 4.1.)

Of course, we don't want you non-iPhone 4-owning users to feel slighted; we have some great stuff for you coming very soon, we promise!

Your buddies,

Julian, Eric, Adam

We've also kept busy in the meantime, putting together an update of historic proportions. Let us tell you the ways we love you:

- We made various UI and graphic tweaks.
- Eric made a dazzling new icon!
- Finally, we tightened up the overall stability.

If you like Pano why not leave us a review on the App Store.

Version 2.0 (Dec 06, 2008)

Pano v2.0 Update

Since the release of Pano a month ago we've been toiling feverishly to add your most requested features, and to tighten up anything we could could get our wrenches around. We were going to call this 1.1, but, really, this is a leap forward. So 2.0 it is!

New Features Include:
- increased image cap from 4 pictures to 6, giving you HUGE final panoramas of up to 3600x600 pixels
- Portrait Mode, which allows you to create wide panoramas while your phone is held upright

Now Even Better:
- improved image blending algorithm for less ghosting and more seamless panoramas
- enhanced colour correction; say goodbye to those dark bands!
- stringent memory management for better stability
- reduced processing time during the merge for less waiting and more shooting

Keep an eye on debaclesoftware.com and our Flickr group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/iphonepanoramas/) for details about our upcoming iPhone panorama contest! Awaiting the winners are prizes and fame!
