Pocketbooth takes a series of photos just seconds apart to create stunning photo strips of your memorable moments. Pose with friends, lovers, family, or pets, and if none are available, don’t worry. Pocketbooth is ideal for spontaneous self-portraits as well. And with the new Party Pack, you can turn Pocketbooth into the ultimate party machine.
- Share -
A photo booth would only be half the fun if you couldn’t share the strips with your friends. Pocketbooth lets you do that, too. With just a few taps you can post your photostrips to Facebook and Twitter, send them by email, or wirelessly print them on your AirPrint-enabled home printer. Printed strips make great gifts, wall hangings, locker decorations, love letter inserts, and more.
- Print & Ship -
If posting, tweeting, or home-printing your photo strips simply won’t cut it, you can even have your photo strips professionally printed and mailed to your friends or loved ones anywhere in the world (an extra charge applies). Simply pick a photostrip, tell us where to send it, and we'll do the rest. Your photo strips will be printed on glossy card stock and shipped in a custom-printed envelope via USPS the following business day. You can even write a personal note on the back of the strip before you send it.

We are so excited about the arrival of iOS 8. Many of the features we had planned from the very beginning of Pocketbooth are now possible thanks to new technologies included in iOS 8.
First, we've enabled background printing for Pocketbooth. Once you've set up your AirPrint printer, you no longer have to keep selecting it each time you print. Simply tap the print button and it prints! (just as you would expect)
Second, we've added a Party Pack in-app purchase that turns Pocketbooth into a party booth. AutoPrint automatically AirPrints your photo after every shot. Party Mode keeps the app on the Pose screen for non-stop photo taking. When both of these options are turned on, you have the perfect party machine. Guests can sit one right after the other and printouts are made immediately after the photostrip is taken.
Third, we've done some bug fixing and the app is now fully iOS 8 compatible.
Though the app has been compatible with iOS7 for some time, it didn't have iOS7 coursing through its veins. Now it does. You'll notice the newer keyboard and alert stylings.
Other than that, this update is mostly related to problems you probably didn't even know were problems. Well, they are fixed now. That's just how much we care.
Onward through the fog!
This minor update adds a new Settings panel that gives you more control when AirPrinting your Pocketbooth strips. Now when you AirPrint a photostrip, you can choose Normal Mode, Photo Mode, and we're pleased to announce that Pocketbooth has been optimized for ZINK hAppy printers with the, you guessed it, ZINK hAppy Mode.
ZINK hAppy printers can print actual strips! (strips that are stickers, no less)
Greetings and salutations. Sorry for the length of time between updates - we've been hard at work on some fun stuff, some of it still secret. Here's what you're getting with this update:
- improved ios7 compatibility
- 4" screen support (finally!)
- made shipping times clearer on ordering window
- now utilize Apple's built-in Twitter and Facebook sharing for a better experience
- updated 3rd party libraries
Primary relationship rekindled during the course of this update's development: Baby Ruth. Peanuts, caramel and nougat, oh my!
Hello. Bonjour. Hola. 你好. Guten tag. Buon giorno. こんにちは.
1) We've added app descriptions in more languages.
2) Twitter sharing is back in the land of the living (not sure what went wrong there -- even the official Twitter app was experiencing the same problems)
3) Printing is a bit more flexible now -- if you print to smaller-sized paper, we handle that more elegantly now.
4) One additional tablespoon of mojo.
Poundage of gummy candies consumed in service of this update: 6.
You can now purchase expansion packs to add more effects and borders to your Pocketbooth arsenal.
For all you lucky iPhone 5 owners out there, we're working on an update that will allow Pocketbooth to take advantage of all the glorious new pixels on your device -- look for it in the coming weeks.
This update also includes a few bug fixes related to iOS 6.
Pocketbooth now takes advantage of the retina display on the new iPad.
We've made some adjustments to the Print & Ship checkout experience -- it is now more concise AND you have the option to save your credit card information for easier repeat ordering.
We're overwhelmed with the positive response to the new Print & Ship feature. Unfortunately, so were our servers!
A few users reported timeouts when ordering/uploading their strip. This problem has been fixed. Order away!
We are pleased as punch to announce the arrival of the ★Print & Ship★ feature for Pocketbooth. You can now order prints inside the app. Prints ship in a swanky Pocketbooth envelope and make great holiday greetings and thank you notes.
You have been able to self-print strips via AirPrint since version 1.2 of Pocketbooth, but now, with the tap of a button we will print your photostrip and ship it anywhere in the world. You pick the strip, write a short message on the back, choose recipients, and we do the rest. Sweet!
Photostrips are professionally printed and shipped via USPS in a custom envelope the following business day. Envelopes and strips are recyclable and all waste created in the card and envelope production is recycled at our print centers.
Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
