Bertrand Schmitt, CEO

Bertrand Schmitt, CEO

Bertrand leads the charge at App Annie. He is a technology entrepreneur with 14 years of executive experience in the mobile, Internet and analytics space across Europe, US and Asia. Previously, he was VP Mobile for Gomez (web analytics) acquired in 2009 by Compuware for $295M, and before that he was COO and VP Marketing at Zandan (mobile analytics) acquired by Keynote Systems. Bertrand also held management / founder roles at Neocom Multimedia and Arkadia Netsystems. Bertrand holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master in Computer Science from ISEP, France. Outside of running tech companies, Bertrand is usually found trying out the latest gadgets and reading on his tablet.

Marshall Nu, COO & CFO

Marshall Nu, COO & CFO

Marshall heads up the financial and operational aspects of App Annie. He joins us from sunny Los Angeles and brings a diverse mix of financial and corporate strategy experience with various top tier companies. He was previously an associate at Shamrock Capital Advisors, a media-focused private equity firm and prior to that worked in M&A for Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). Marshall is a graduate of UCLA.

Oliver Lo, VP Marketing

Oliver Lo, VP Marketing

Oliver is responsible for App Annie’s brand and marketing. He brings a wealth of experience in marketing, social media and gaming. Prior to App Annie he was the Product Lead for Zynga China and previous to that the Marketing Lead for XPD, a social gaming start-up that was acquired by Zynga. Back in London, Oliver was working at ad agencies creating brand campaigns for international brands like Virgin, Ikea and Diageo. Oliver graduated from the University of Cambridge.

Lylian Kieffer, VP Engineering

Lylian Kieffer, VP Engineering

Lylian heads up the engineering team at App Annie. He spent many years in the mobile monitoring space leading the mobile engineering at Zandan and later at Gomez, spearheading the creation of the Active Mobile product. Zandan was acquired by Keynote Systems and Gomez by Compuware. Lylian graduated with a Computer Science degree in France.

Jacky Wang, Chief Architect

Jacky Wang, Chief Architect

Jacky is in charge of the technology and architecture behind all App Annie products. He has spent more than a decade developing software for IT companies in China and was an early member of the Exoweb team. Jacky is the whizz kid behind App Annie’s technology and is very passionate about data mining, as well as Agile methodologies. Jacky graduated with an MSC Information Technology degree from ChongQing University.

Nicolas Beraudo, EVP Worldwide Sales, GM US

Nicolas Beraudo, EVP Worldwide Sales, GM US

Nicolas is responsible for Worldwide Sales and App Annie's US Operation. A veteran in the video game industry, he has over 17 years of experience in sales, licensing and business development with leading publishers globally. Prior to joining App Annie, Nick served as VP of Business Development at Glu where he was responsible for inbound licensing and OEM partnerships. He also served as Senior Director of Licensing at Atari, Inc. where he was responsible for outbound licensing of the Atari and Hasbro portfolio on all new digital platforms. Nicolas served as Vice President of Sales for Virgin Interactive and Director of Sales for Interplay Entertainment from 1996 to 2003. He holds an MBA in International Business from ESC Grenoble, France and a BS in Management from UMASS Dartmouth.

Luis Gutierrez, Director of Business Development, USA

Luis is responsible for driving App Annie’s awareness among stakeholders from the financial services and investor communities (venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, analysts and asset managers) who have a commercial interest in apps. He wrote “Super Apps” an iTunes iPad eBook covering Apple’s App Store history and providing marketing advice to app developers. Prior to founding Dutz Technologies (publisher of AppPicker, acquired in 2012) he spent more than a decade working at Fisher Investments holding several senior management roles. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, with a degree in political science.

Olivier Bernard, Vice President, EMEA

Olivier Bernard, Vice President, EMEA

Olivier Bernard is the Vice President Europe, Middle East, Africa, responsible for App Annie’s sales and operation in the region. Olivier brings with him a decade of sales, business development and operational management experience in the mobile and gaming industries. Prior to joining App Annie, Olivier served as VP/General Manager International at Glu mobile (GLUU) where he was responsible for managing all Glu’s client base and overseeing all operations in EMEA, APAC and LATAM. Prior to joining Glu, Olivier held senior business positions within the game industry at Vodafone Group (VOD) from 2003 to 2006 and Atari (ATA) from 1998 to 2002. He holds an MA in History and Political Science from Lyon II, France.

Junde Yu, Vice President, APAC

Junde Yu, Vice President, APAC

Junde manages business development and sales in Asia for App Annie. He started his career in web startups while he was in university, and has since accumulated experience at web and mobile startups and corporations, in particular business development roles at companies like Scoreloop, SingTel, and Tapjoy. Junde graduated with a Computer Science degree from the National University of Singapore.

Yuji Kuwamizu, Country Director, Japan

Yuji Kuwamizu, Country Director, Japan

Yuji is spearheading App Annie's Japan operations. An industry veteran, he joins us from Nubee, a Singapore-based game publisher, where he was the Studio Manager in charge of leading the launch of several successful games. He then moved to Nubee Tokyo as Country Director, where he was responsible for all marketing, business development and production teams. Yuji graduated with a Law degree from the Seinan-Gakuin University, Japan.

Tianxiao Shi, Senior Business Development Manager, China

Tianxiao Shi, Senior Business Development Manager, China

Tianxiao manages business development and sales in China for App Annie. He helps Chinese game publishers and developers to know more about App Annie and Data Analytics. Prior to joining App Annie, Tianxiao served as Sales Director of the Internet industry at ChinaCache International Holdings Ltd. He also served as sales manager for overseas market at Opzoon Technology Co.Ltd. Tianxiao has 5 years of experience in sales and business development with multinational corporations and leading internet corporations. Tianxiao graduated with a computer science degree from LiaoNing Technology University.
