BarSec Droid is an Android security application that adds security features to protect two-dimensional barcodes,
using cryptography and URL checking against web attacks.
In order to generate cryptographic QR codes, users can install Barcode Security Studio (BarSec) Java Desktop application.
BarSec Droid can read cryptographic QR codes generated by BarSec Java Desktop application as well as legacy QR codes (non-cryptographic).
The application is designed by Heider Ahmad Mutleq Wahsheh, a Ph.D student at Ca Foscari university of Venice - Italy, under supervision of Prof. Flaminia Luccio and Prof. Riccardo Focardi.
