The app contains a database of UK legislation as well as aide memoires and other useful information. The designer of the App is a serving UK police officer.
The App contains almost 300 articles, which are split into the following categories:
★ Criminal Damage
★ Public Order
★ Anti-Social Behaviour
★ Sexual Offences
★ Traffic Law
★ Police / Courts
★ Sporting Offences
★ Use of Force
★ Human Rights
★ Miscellaneous Offences
●● POINTS TO PROVE ●●
Legislation articles include the points to prove for the offence. We have also started introducing 'Police Actions' and 'CCCJS Charging Codes' within the legislation articles.
●● AID MEMOIRES ●●
Handy guides that include GOWISELY, ADVOKATE, PEACE interview model, National Decision Model (NDM), Arrest Conditions, FPN codes, PND codes and more.
●● SEARCH ●●
You can search from within the App by subject and key words that will then display all the relevant articles for your search query.
●● EMAIL and PRINT ●●
There is also the facility to email each article so that you can then print it off – very useful for points to prove in interviews!
The App contains offences from Acts of Law that apply in England and Wales (Although many of these acts also apply in Scotland and Northern Ireland).
The app will not open despite purchase.
This app is a great resource for people who may need to quickly check legislation, ive never had any problems with the app and use it quite regularly. Would be great if the developers could incorporate a section in the app for the Armed Forces Act 2006
Always found this to be a great piece of kit.
App designer needs to refund me because I cannot open this app since changing my Android phone.
Bought this app a good while ago. Went to reinstall it on my Huawei P30 phone and read all the previous reviews about it not now working. Tried it anyway (after all, I have bought it) and found that it still worked fine. A simple and effective knowledge reminder when you know it but then start to self doubt yourself. There does need to be a review of some of the legislation as some of it is out of date and that is NOT a good thing when officers are relying on the information contained. (136 MHA)
