Here at Pearl Maps we develop the app and its algorithms, but we get all the data from OpenStreetMap (OSM). This is a mapping project similar to Wikipedia, where anybody can create and edit maps. If you see incorrect information or missing objects, you can become an OSM contributor. It’s simple and fun – you just need to register on their website. You can also add new places, edit existing POI and building info (addresses, opening hours, names) directly from Pearl Maps. Once you log in with your account your edits will be automatically uploaded to OSM. Please be careful when editing, as your edits will be seen by the whole OSM community. The more people who contribute, the more detailed maps we get. And we believe that it's only a matter of time until the whole planet will be mapped by the open community.
