Images are garbled
Very disappointed. It seemed like this app would do what I want. But the images shown were all garbage. The original jpg file looks fine but as displayed by this app the images were distored both in the window and in full screen mode. The distortion is so bad the app is useless. I hope they fix this. Wasted $2.
Fills a unique need.
The developer has created a tool that has no equal in the App store. If you need to present multiple images from a list, simultaneously and on multiple monitors, and controlling the arrangement of said images on their target displays, this is it. The closest competitor are professional presentation suites (none of which are available in the MAS) that cost hundreds of times the price of this app. It is not perfect by any means, and there will always be some fine tuning that you may want to do that you’ll have to do outside this app. But this app will allow you to do things that are not possible without it (or that, on the Mac, require ugly and messy hacks with the desktop/wallpaper management. I recomend that you give it a shot, if nothing else to support the rare breed of original developers that once in a while show up in the MAS. Cheers!
Thanks for fixing the problem with entitlements. I'm happy with the app again.
Simple enough - but INSISTS on randomizing
I agree with the earlier reivewer, for a simple, no frills way to show pictures, this is fine. But it FORCES you to randomize the pictures, WHY? I've got slide shows that only make sense in order - and there's no way to do that. I'd also like an option to show smaller pictures full screen.
Great no-frills slideshow app. Read this before believing the other reviews
I think these other people with negative reviews bought this $2 app expecing a super complicated, feature rich application. This is a utility and does what it's made for quite nicely. If you are looking for a no-frills slideshow viewer that does nothing but slideshows, this $2 app is a very useful tool. If you need something robust like saving a movie, file management (edit/delete/etc), super complicated transitions, etc, then you'll need to find a more expensive option. You point this at directories and press the Start button … no delay, no indexing, just starts showing pics. Its great for setting up a kiosk at a party and occasionally dumping your memory card into a directory and restarting the slide show. People can use the arrow keys if they want to go back and see a shot again. Spacebar stops/starts the show, incase someone wants to pause on a specific shot to show others at the party. It reduces the image view down to the max size of the screen automatically, so no cropped off heads/feet like with other slideshow apps. Would be nice if we could zoom in and pan around on a specific image. 5 stars for doing what it was made to do. Looking forward to updates.
