Warning: App doesn’t seem to be working at all anymore
Such a great idea, and it apepars to have been working, but now it’s no longer working in laterst version of OS X (at least on .ogg files).
works as advertised
Cant get it to show up in pathfinder contextual menu though, have to switch back to ‘regular’ finder to use. just a word of warning for pathfinder users.
No option top choose destination
I like this app very much. It is however missing an important option for me to choose where I want the newly encoded MP3 file to be saved. It automatically saves the file in the same place as the original. This is particularly obnoxious when ripping a music CD because it cannot put the MP3 file back on the music CD…so it doesn’t do anything. In order to rip files from a music CD you will have to first copy all the CD files onto your computer and then you can encode them to MP3 files. This is an extra time consuming step and could be easily solved by allowing the user to choose where the newly created MP3 files will be saved..such as a folder on the desktop or my MP3 player.
It's great for quickly checking my songs in mp3 encoding (does 320kbps exports) you can add the meta-data in itunes after import. Wish it would pop up with the ID3 editing information =)
