OPML import satisfaction
At least for me, finally imports OPML docs properly! Very happy!
One of my favorite apps
This is one of my favorite apps, for sure. I do have a question, though.Does anyone else experience:- Slowing: as more text is added to the document?- Crashing: when you cut/paste text from another document into the .scribe document?
Simple, Fast, and Effective
UPDATE: I have been using scribe for a while now. I have another outlining app that I use for longer outlines. But when I need to make a quick outline or jot down some notes in a meeting, I keep coming back to Scribe. It is also great for outlining shorter papers. Scribe is a joy to use and very intuitive. All you have to do is launch it and start outlining. It has just the right amount of features to make it a great outlining tool without being bogged down by a bunch of features most people are not going to use. I have used it to outline research papers and it does the job very well. I have found that copy and pasting into Pages is a great way to put the final touches on your outline (line spacing, before and after paragraph spacing etc). Also, if you also use mindmapping software, this will open OPML files and the formatting is virtually flawless! What a great tool. On another note, the developers are incredibly responsive and seem committed to making this product even better. I emailed with a question and received a quick, helpful response. One thing that would be great to see is page wrap functionality for full screen mode, to avoid having lines of text that stretch across the whole screen.
