If you are looking for an app to remove duplicates this is it!
I looked all over the internet for an app to remove my duplicates (I have over 1,000) and was going nuts attempting to remove them all by hand. I ended up biteing the bullet and paying the ridiculous 20.00 for this app, but I’ve got to say it was actually worth it (although I feel like it should really probably be worth more like 10.00) anyway, outside of a high price, you are absolutely getting what you are paying for.

Reliable and effective
I tried a competitor product and ended up returning it after it couldn’t even load my music library. Song Sergeant performed fine, even with a music library of close to 1TB and long DJ sets. It will take some time to process large libraries (several days), but it isn’t a frequent activity so that is fine with me. The auto-merge and delete features seem pretty full developed. Happy to recommend this product.

Fixed ALL my iTunes problems
I had my music library on two computers, one a PC, the other a Mac. I thought I had everything on both computers. And I had jillions of duplicates and a lot of orphans. (I had some WMA files that didn’t appear in iTunes, but that’s another issue.) I have a library of about 3,000 albums and 30,000 tracks (without duplicates). Song Sergeant cleaned it all up and in relatively short order. If your iTunes library is a mess, just spend the money as this will fix it. Also, I have peace of mind know that if it becomes a mess again for some reason Song Sergeant has got my back. I don’t normally spend $20 on a utility app, but this is so worth it. I feel in control of my music library again.

Finding duplicates where you pick the bit rate and format you want!
There are very few apps, if any, that do what this app does for your Itunes music collection. You specify your favorite format and the bitrate you want in your collection. So if it searches and find "Eleanor Rigby" in 128Kbs, 256Kbs, and 320Kbs, you can say I prefer 256Kbs and all of the other "Eleanor Rigby" files are duplicates. Or you can just say keep the highest bitrate. Plus you can say, I favor .m4a over .mp3 and it will take that into account too. It's tough to find music software that searches for duplicates with diffeent bitrates and formats taken into account. It will also optionally consider song length, album title, etc. So if it finds "Eleanor Rigby" on two different albums and I tell it to only find duplicates within the same album, it will keep one copy of the song for each album. The only thing I would change is to let it work directly against your files. It should't have to be in loaded into Itunes. I would also like to see Flac support if it goes directly against the files.Great Product!!!

Awesome app, Best of it's kind 😄
I have tried all the other apps that are like this one, and this is the best one that I have tested. It's very, very, fast, and it can do a lot more as you can see in the description of this app. This app also does a lot more that the other apps of it's kind and best of all it's easy to use 😉
