Color Finder helps you to find, isolate and identify specific colors in landscapes, or any photograph or image, and also to create palettes based on those images. Especially useful to anyone interested in color- Artists, quilters, knitters, web designers. Professionals and students alike.
You can isolate colors in two ways. The first option is to tap anywhere in an image (or zoomed portion of an image) to select a specific color .
The second way to isolate colors is to use the Colors button to break down the image into its component colors. A page is shown with all the distinct colors in separate tiles. These tiles can be selected to build a palette. A Right Tap (right click with mouse or hold and release on a touch screen) on a color in the palette will jump to the nearest color match in the list of all colors so you can see similar hues.
You can tap on a color tile to show the color in a full screen tile to make it easy to match the color.
