Not enough flexibility
I was excited to see a tool for Mac that seemed to be a lot like Carapace, the perspective grid tool where you can create vanishing points, but it’s disappointing that it doesn’t work as clearly as Carapace does. It’s nearly impossible to use a typical photograph to create a perspective grid here, because as the other reviewer mentioned, if the vanishing point falls off the screen, you’re out of luck in having any control over it. Dear developers: Please study Carapace and make your app more like it. A good start but I eagerly await improvements. Also, please add an undo function.
The basic functionality of placing a single vanishing point generally works, although with no options to zoom or resize or move the image, it’s almost impossible to be accurate. Anything beyond that is unintuitive and buggy. As far as I can tell, there is no way to undo or correct a mistake.
Does exactly what I needed! Really easy to draw perspective grids, and the new print functionality in 1.1 is very useful.
