I find this app to be extremely useful as I travel around the Hunter Valley and sometimes down to Sydney. Because I've traveled on public transport a lot, I use the PAID version so as to save planned trips. Unlike the OPAL Travel Tripplanner, this one does busses, as well as trains, ferries and light rail. You construct a trip by creating one or more legs, each of which has a start and finish in the categories above. If a new leg starts at the old destination. More than one leg will show waiting times between individual trips, and you can edit each leg to add or removed servives you want to use. You can set a destination to "All Destiations" and you can also (if you have at least one leg) REVERSE the start and end of a trip. I find this enourmously helpful when travelling around, but then I have a good idea how the local public transport system works. For example I wanted to go from Barnsley to Fantastic Furniture in Bennets green. I knew that I'd need thre legs: Barnsley-Glendale , Glendale-Chatlestown (or Glendale to Belmont), and Charlestown-Bennets Green( or Belmont-Bennets Green). I added these to get a Barnsley - Glendlae - Bennets Green trip, and this showed me when the next bus would come and the amount of time waiting I'd have. The reason Ionly give this FOUR stars is that the map option assumes that your phone is online to access Googlemaps. I have a prepaid account and if I'm not accessing free WiFi, that maps show the stops but have a BLANK background. An option to use an offline map equivalent (like OsmAnd) would be enormously helpful to people like myself.

Great app and worth the money, just wondering if it will ever come to WearOS on Android Smartwatches

I was told this was the app to get for public transport.... so I bought it. It's not easy to just plan a trip from place A to place B... the opal app is much easier combing trains and buses with one simple entry.

Woefully bad with frequently inaccurate timetables and platforms. Edit: I missed a train because of incorrect departure time provided by the app. Not the first time. It might be the fault of the transit providers however the issue remains.
