HSBC Kinetic for Android includes a business current account, debit card and the ability to make and receive payments. There are no monthly account fees** for now although other fees and charges will apply.

ARE WE A MATCH?
If you’re a start-up, entrepreneur, contractor or small business owner, HSBC Kinetic may be right for you. Your business must be a single director limited company or sole trader, based in the UK with an annual turnover of less than £2M. It is an HSBC Kinetic requirement that if you are a limited company you have a sole shareholder and this is recorded at Companies House as “at least 75% or more ownership and/or voting rights”.
If you’re already an HSBC Kinetic customer on an alternative platform, you will not be able to switch to this Android version of the app, as it does not currently have the same products and features.

Please note that: We will perform a credit check as part of the HSBC Kinetic current account opening process. Credit reference agencies keep a record of all searches and this allows financiers to see when and how many times other financiers have accessed your credit information. This information may then be used in an assessment to accept or decline your application for an account or borrowing;

** There will be no monthly account maintenance fee during the HSBC Kinetic Early Access period. From 1 June 2021, following the HSBC Kinetic Early Access period, there will be a monthly account maintenance fee free period of 18 months. From 1 December 2022 a monthly maintenance fee of £6.50 will apply. There are other fees and charges that will apply. Fees subject to change, customers will be notified in advance of any changes.
Hsbc has become a nightmare to deal with including this app. I have been with hsbc for over 18 years had a good history with them but lately it seems that I'm talking to the online robots. Wasted all my time trying to open my new business account all I get is asking me over and over the questions I have already answered. Lloyd's was a super fast response with 2 days I had my account running and much better products.

I need to switch the approved device for this app onto my new phone when I press continue that's as far as I get, also still waiting for account to be approved

Don't download this app use different bank, You waste your 3 weeks waiting for registration in the end you give all your details and they respond in short you was unsuccessful setting account and Bye. Over the phone they are rubbish can't explain why??! Customer service rubbish!! Chinese rubbish bank...good luck

Lamentable and poorly thought through approach to attempting to talk to SME. Example a new company cannot put in its trading address because the app only recognises established companies at that address. DoB have to use a calendars, takes ages to get back to a 60's. UX is abysmal, verging on ignorant, in the proper sense of the word, you do not know what you are doing. Like a virtual branch. Went no further. Better things to do and with your competitors. Uninstall.
