Honest Review & Story About My Second Wolf’s Life, Tyler
I saw this game in the App Store when I was looking for a fun wolf game to play. It looked interesting so I decided to try it. It took me a few days (Literal Days) to get a mate, because I didn’t remember I needed exactly 800 or more XP to get a mate. Once I did, I was ashamed to hear the full game cost $2.99 US. But once I had the money, I gladly bought it. And 2 of my pups died. I’m a terrible mom. But after I beat it, I gladly bought the 2 packs, the body pack and skin pack so I could play again with a new wolf. And that brings me to the story of my 2nd wolf, Tyler. ~Tyler awoke to his parents standing before him. He knew it only meant one thing, this was the day he had to leave. “Tyler” his mother said proudly “You are no longer a puppy. It’s time for you to find a mate and continue the family’s genetic code.” Tyler stood up, his ears and tail high with pride as he spoke. “I will mother. I will continue this family’s legacy, to the end of time!” Soon after, Tyler left his home territory, leaving his parents, and leaving his younger siblings. He said he would never look back, because his life only really just begun. He ran for miles, hunting elk and chasing coyotes until he found himself in a stranger wolf’s territory in Amythest Mountains. He approached her with his tail halfway, trying to signal he was neither a threat nor hare. (In his family, a wolf addressed as hare is a submissive wolf) He politely greeted her. She was alright. They talked until they started playing. After playing a little, Tyler said “Let us start a pack together and continue our family’s genetic code and fulfill life!” She took this speech well, and happily agreed. Before they had to travel to Slough Creek, they exchanged their names. Her name was Wilder, which he thought was beautiful. They ran the many miles to Slough Creek. It took an entire season, so they ended up their in winter. They stood before the hills and plains of Slough Creek. They wandered about, searching for a den. They found a perfect den under a tree which had grown over rocks. They slowly established their territory and familiarized themselves with potential pup predators. As spring gave way, they knew their pups would come. Wilder became pregnant and 9 weeks later, 4 pups were born. Their names were Lily, Bloom, Junior and Strider. They grew up safe from predators, with plenty of food. Well, Lily was carried off by a coyote once, but Tyler got to the coyote before Lily died. But Lily was left with her back left paw paralyzed. But once they were old enough, they had to leave to the summer den. They had to cross a river, although they were already on the correct side, they could not cut through a pack territory that had a vicious 10-wolf pack. Junior nearly died from the river, and Tyler carried what he thought was his dead body the whole way to the summer territory. But with a miracle, it was almost like Junior was revived. They then settled here for the summer. Thou when seasons change, most wolves switch territories, they decided to stay because it was much safer. The 1st litter grew up and now hunted for Tyler and now in pregnancy once again Wilder. A 2nd litter was born, but their names were not known. Once spring arrived a final time, a last 3rd litter was born. Only one pup’s name is known, Sauveur, which meant Savior in French. He got this name because he saved an enemy pack’s pup from a bear. But after all of the pups grew up, well, the alive ones, they left to continue their family’s genes. Now old and tired, Tyler and Wilder rest in their den, waiting for the end of their days. Wilder died before Tyler, which she died from a cougar attack. But Tyler passed away soon after. The last thing he saw was one of his pups, Lily, who had come back to say goodbye. He saw his grand pups too, as Lily was pregnant. He passed away peacefully, his life fulfilled. He soon will begin a new life, as a new wolf, maybe even as one of Lily’s pups. But whatever happens to his spirit, he knows what will happen to his legacy; it will continue to the end of time. The end.~ Sorry, that was long but I really wanted to include it. Obviously I enjoyed this game. And this is all based on my actual wolf in WolfQuest, Tyler. Of course, in the game, you can’t save pups from death, but I went back to a save before the pup died and saved it, so I was able to make up survival stories for them XD. Anyway, I reccomend buying the entire game, packs included. I hope to create new stories with new wolves soon! Thank you so much eduweb for making this wonderful game. Please continue to improve it and make it even more awesome! (PS, I started a new wolf and it was female. I accidentally got a mate of the female gender. It changed my wolf to male, so I had to change my entire wolf (Edit Saved Wolf) to a male character. Can you make it say “Wrong Gender” or something so I don’t accidentally do that? XD.) Anyway, thanks for reading to the end if you did, this is way too long. Have a good whatever time of day it is for you!
