AENEAS Enhanced Numeric Electro-Acoustic Simulator makes it easy to simulate loudspeaker enclosure designs. It
accepts Thiele-Small parameters for a driver and can simulate the following enclosures designs:
- inifinite baffle
- bandpass 4th order
- bandpass 6th order
- closed 3rd order
- Transmission Line
For each design several output graphs are shown:
- SPL magnitude & Phase
- Impedance seen by the amplifier
- Excursion of driver
- SPL of driver or port
- Max. SPL
- Max.Input Voltage for linear excursion
- Max. input power for linear excursion
- Group Delay
- Transfer function of Enclosure
Measured frequency responses can be imported and included into the simulation.
AENEAS can simulate multiple driver/enclosure combinations at the same time.
The Crossover Workbench (In-App-Purchase) makes it easy to develop and simulate any passive frequency crossover design based on either simulated or measured driver responses. Crossover Workbench supports import of FRD and ZMA files from measurement tools.
Designs can be stored and loaded.
