It tells me nothing, Weatherbug Tells me more about the weather than this one. Time to uninstall and wasted $2.00.
Best Weather App in the App Store Period
I love this weather app it’s awesome and updates are quick and quick support is awesome. You will not find a better app for Mac’s than this one for weather and all of his other apps are awesome as well. Check them out.. Very accurate as well and love how temp. is on both finder bar and dock bar with icons of weather for the day. i use this on my startup when booting up my Mac from shut down the night before and come one quick with up to date weather. Keeep up the awesome job and hope more people will use this app is worth every penny you need to spen on. And also has a feedback and email section when there is a problem and they get back to you within a day most of the time not long wait at all. Very helpful info all the time if there were a 10 star this would be one. Love it awesome and great job by all.
Bug in New Version
I just updated ClassicWeather HD to version 1.6 and now I can’t read the temperature in the menu bar. They changed the text color to white so if the menu bar is a light color because the background in light or if “Reduce Transparency” is checked in system preferences it’s white on white. Really hard to read. Make that impossible. Other than that it’s a very good weather app. Fix this and it gets 5 stars.
Excellent weather app overall.
Overall, weather app does an excellent job displaying detailed current weather details for multiple cities (I have only tested 2 simultaneously). Ten-day and hourly weather forecasts work well—as does the menu bar integration. I have really only noticed one minor bug: sometimes it displays the current temperature as “-0” (that is in celsius). I am assuming the intention is exactly 0 celsius as 0 is neither negative or positive. This is a minor—yet annoying—issue which I feel the developer of the app would do well to fix. Overall though, it is really an excellent app and is well worth the $1.99 price the developer is asking for it.
Very nice, and worth $3, but not perfect.
This weather program has nearly all the features you could want in regard to weather. It's very nice in that regard. However, it has one big flaw. Each location in the list has its own little window, whether it's in "single window" mode, or "widget" mode. The only difference is that in the former, all cities are shown or hidden at once (first picture above), while in the latter they can be shown individually or all at once, but they're in separate windows that can be moved and closed individually. No problems there. But the actual "window" that displays the weather for each city is not wide enough. There are 3 "zoom" levels that make the windows larger or smaller, but it's literally a magnification of the whole whole window. The medium and large size literally show the same information, just larger. But if you are looking at the 10-Day Forecast window, for example, and you have all the options turned on (humidity, wind speed, etc.), then the window is not wide enough to display all the information, and it isn't otherwise resizable. You have to scroll to the right to see humidity. That's really not good.Having said that: another plus that you don't see in many such programs is that you can open the same city in two different windows, so you can see today's conditions in one window and 10-day forecast in another. That's a real plus. All in all, it's a great app but it is sorely in need of the ability to make the windows bigger. I understand that it's a complex window to try to make resizable by dragging. BUT the windows really should be wide enough to show all the daily information (10-Day view) without having to scroll.
