IT WAS VERY FUN AND VERY SCARY I LIKED IT BEACUSE THERE WAS NOT MANY HARD PUZZLES LIKE MOST OF THE NANCY DREW GAMES.I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME BEACUSE IT IS FUN AND EVEN MORE SCAAAARRYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very creepy with an interesting (yet slightly predictable) story line. One character speaks her English very slow which can be annoying, but the rest are fast paced and interesting.
Worst Nancy Drew Game I ever played!!!!!!!!
I played the game and got stuck on portort picture puzzle. I tried walkthroughs and online and there is no way they can help becuase the solution changes. Why would they put a puzzle so challengeing in the beginning of the game. Now I paid 19.99 for a game that I can not even get passed the begining no way to skip or get help through a walkthrough.
agree with the other reviewers, the mini games are really tough and time consuming. i definitely hated some of the puzzles. the story line is very interesting though, got plenty of genuine goosebumps throughout the game. if you like a good ghost story this one won't disappoint! definitely the creepiest nancy drew that i've ever played.
Stop, Just Stop!
This is a great Nancy Drew game. One of my favorites. It is a great game with great graphics and a great storyline. I found it to be genuinely frightening at times. I felt for the characters and their interaction or lack there of was legitimate. The mother's death is a sensitive subject and I feel that the characters came off as fairly human. And their motives seemed solid. On the other hand, I agree that Rentero's puzzles are stupid and unnecessary. But there are several free online strategy guides to avoid the impossible puzzles. I also found Yumi's personality annoying at times. However, her Bento mini-game was my favorite. And think how it's played is pretty self-explaintory. If that's too hard for you to figure out, then puzzle games aren't for you. I was gripped into both the ghost stories and the story of the mother. I say it's a must buy. It has a little something for everyone, intensive in both puzzle and story. Worth every penny.
