Haven't finished, but enjoying the game and graphics. Problems with cursor at first, and game would not play until web browser was closed, but works fine now.
Interesting, but not for me.
I got this game on a whim. I had some time to kill and decided to try something new. I frankly do not understand what the object here is: I can put up with the same two tracks playing in a loop in the background, and the somewhat annoying after a while where's waldo image searches, but other than that, I got bored running back and forth between the church, and the office, the lab, the well, the place across the bridge (oh wait that's where the well is)…I see people at bars (especially couples, which is weird) getting really into the "find the objects" photo games. Those people may love this game. For me, it got repetitive and tedious (in a non-challenging way) very quickly. Some parts looked pretty, but I cannot forgive one thing: Why, oh why do the demons just sit there while you scurry around from place to place gathering ingredients to make a potion to kill them with? The first demon had most of the ingredients and the recipe to slay him, in his own kitchen! And why does a demon need a kitchen? Simply not well conceptualized. Just silly. Anyway, at 7 bucks it was worth it. Had a laugh. Someone worked hard on this I am sure, and others may love it.
Still has a BUG or two.
The Good News: The graphics are better than the previews shown on the App Store. The game is more challenging than Twin Moons, but not better than Twin Moons. The Bad News: The "Hint function" needs to be improved. Apparently not all of the flags that allow a HINT to be presented have been flow charted properly. For example, when you are in the room with the "Greedy Demon" (with all the gold), and IF you have the "Eternal Light" in your inventory, but you do not have the "Bag of Gold" and IF you click on "Hint" you will be instructed to place the "Eternal Light" inside the cage. However, you will simply not be able to place it there until after you get the "Bag of Gold". Therefore, the "Hint" function is out of sync with the inventory function.Otherwise, not too bad and works well with my 2008 G5 dual 2.8 Ghz Quad core Intel Xeon. with 24 GB 800 Mhz DDR2 FB Dimm and with OS X 10.8.5 . . Also, ATI Radeon HD 4870 512 MB graphics card.
The game is pretty good as far as logic. The HO scenes are good - just challenging enough. It was intertaining. I have a MacBook Pro - current updates, etc. I had some hiccups every time I began the game. It loads as full-screen and I got a flickering image. I had to change from full-screen version and then back again to work the game but it did the trick. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else has the same issue…
