Nice game, but a bit unfair
Overall, the game is nice to play. Graphics are OK. 1 complaint is that it is based on random chance. While this is supposed to be a good thing (you can play the same game twice and get two different outcomes), the randomness is heavily favored for the game, not the player. The percentage chance for a hit is almost useless when judging an enemy. If they have a 20% chance of hitting you, you can bet they will hit you over 90% of the time. If you have a 60% chance of hitting the enemy, bet on it being about 30%. This all would not be a problem, except when the enemy has 2-3 times the power to squash you in 1 shot, then the game is no longer enjoyable. If that were more fair, I would give 5 stars. As such, I give 4, because a game should be enjoyable, not overly frustrating. Such things might make some people want to just walk away and regret buying the game.
Great game worth the money
Only complaints I got is that it is too short, I mean it is a long game yes but too short for me, I would be pleased if once you beat it you could do another play through and continue lvling instead of completely starting over, easy to do and increase difficulty on each new playthrough
As a fire emblem player for years...
I find this game impressive. This game is harder than some Fire Emblem games and about as long and fun. Graphics may be outdated, but that does not interfere with the gameplay at all. The writing for this game is almost never dull and always leads to a good story regardless of path. Unit customization is well- fleshed out and quite intruiging at times. That being said, there are some downsides to be considered if this game is played. First off, there are some secrets that probably shouldn't be(I'm trying to avoid spoilers so not quite going into their nature, and besides guides are easy enough to find). Secondly, there seems to be a lot of anticlimax at many beginning missions, but that's something that is part of my personal game flow beliefs. If you want a strategy game with exceptional graphics, try a console Fire Emblem game. If you want an incredible experience at a low price, BUY THIS GAME. If strategy games aren't your thing, you might want to try something slightly less complex first, though.Tl;dr:Graphics: 3/5, but for this kind of game I really don't care about them. Story initial: 4/5. It just gets too cliche at times.Story from halfway on: 6/5.Difficulty: 4/5. Humor: 4.5/5. Gameplay: 4.5/5Price: 4.5/5.End rating:8/10, buy it.
Great game, though can't see all of the screen on a 11'' MacBook Air
I want to play it, but I can't change the size of the app so it fits on my screen. The iOS app is amazing though.
Great game, BUT
Please fix the hit percentages. The hit percentages are unfavorably unbalanced towards the AI. I am near the end of the game but there have been MULTIPLE incidents on four of my turns I had 90% or more chance to hit and I missed all four times. The enemy had 30% and below and hit me 3 out of four times( AND TWO OF THOSE WERE ON A 5%). This is also a issue on missions such as "A Power, God-like", where Ignar Trakis can instant kill you with one of his stronger attacks and full force, he did multiple times in a row WHEN HE HAD LESS THAN A TEN PERCENT CHANCE TO HIT. I love this game but please make the hit percentages seem like what they actually are.
