waste of time to download this thing
Just moved from PC to Mac a few days ago, & suddenly saw Winmail.dat attachments today, DOH!This program rescued me instantly~! Danke Grazie Thanks x 1000
Nice interface, but unreliable.
Disclaimer: I tried this app while it was free. I already purchased an app for the billions of winmail.dat files that coworkers keep sending me, but I wanted to see how the free competition stacked up. Not so well it turns out. First, the good: I really like the compact user interface: by including the area where you drop files in the main window, Deng Gao has refined the concept of a drop area from where the other apps have taken it. Now, the bad: the app doesn’t work all that well. I threw most of yesterday’s junk at it, and it managed to pull out all of the attachments about 25% of the time. Some of the missed attachments were minor things that wouldn’t have been missed, but others weren’t. Worse yet, there was no indication when it missed files: if I didn’t have another app to compare the results against, I wouldn’t have known that things were amiss. At the end of the day, I just can’t approve of something that drops the ball as much as this, even if it’s pretty: brains before beauty, after all!
very useful app for me
Since most of my colleagues using Outlook on Windows, this app is really helpful opening their attachments, no need to run a virtual machine any longer.
A good app!
