App Annie strengthens executive team amid rapid company growth and market expansion
As the global app economy continues to expand and is expected to be valued at $6.3 trillion by 2021, we’ve also experienced rapid growth. Today, 94 of the top 100 app publishers use App Annie to guide their successful app strategies and we’ve recently added both mobile-first and brick-and-mortar customers worldwide including Visa, LEGO, Viacom18 Digital Ventures, Headspace and more.
Companies across a wide range of industries are increasingly embracing mobile apps as transformational to their business and we’re dedicated to providing these companies with the data and insights they need to build and execute their mobile app strategies. With that dedication in mind, we’re announcing the appointment of Sujan Jain to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the promotion of Ted Krantz, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to President.
As President, Ted is positioned as second-in-command next to CEO and Co-Founder, Bertrand Schmitt, and will focus on leading the company’s customer-centric efforts and go-to-market strategy.
For his part, newly-appointed CFO, Sujan Jain, brings a wealth of operating experience in implementing scalable infrastructure to support both public and private companies. Sujan most recently served as CFO at Couchbase, where he helped scale and build operations while taking the company through hyper growth. Prior to Couchbase, Sujan was CFO at Model N where he led the company’s $120 million IPO financing, and before joining Model N, Sujan served as the VP of Finance and GM of Software Vertical for NetSuite.
"I am excited to have Ted and Sujan partner with me and our executive team to usher in the next phase of growth for App Annie. Their expertise is crucial as we scale our business and deepen our investment in a comprehensive solution — from our product suite and customer success to operations and professional services.” Bertrand Schmitt, App Annie CEO and Co-Founder.
