Created in partnership with premier global market intelligence firm IDC, our new report illustrates that while mobile gaming first overtook both home game consoles and PC and Mac gaming for consumer spend in 2014, mobile gaming’s lead has widened dramatically since then. In 2018, mobile game spending was 2.1x PC/Mac gaming and 2.8x home game consoles, leaving mobile in a league of its own.
