In early 2014, we travelled to Washington, DC and pitched The FIND to countless TV Networks. Over and over we heard, “love the concept,” “beautiful footage,” and “exceptionally produced.”
“It’s just too earnest, too good." One VP of Programming told us with shame in her voice and tears in her eyes, “Unfortunately, I think you’ll have to go outside of America to find an audience that cares.” We came home exhausted and defeated. We sulked for a few days, and then we dusted ourselves off and called BS.
