WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“Poshmark is a great online resale platform.” —Vogue
“The social marketplace is great for hunting down a cult-loved item that's otherwise sold out everywhere as well as finding deals on popular brands like Lululemon, Free People, and Anthropologie.” —Popsugar
“Poshmark is a brilliant way to sell and buy clothing. This side hustle app (or for some people, their full-time job!) allows you to take a photo of something in your closet and upload it to your account in less than 60 seconds, all from your phone.” —Parade
“The marketplace that’s so posh that celebrities use it—especially to raise money for good causes, like DJ Khaled, Serena Williams, Katherine Heigl and Rachael Ray” —Buzzfeed
They take 20% for a seller fee!! That’s too much!! And $7.11 for shipping?! Some of the clothes that I sell are $3-5 for shipping!!! And when you want to do a lower price offer you have to give a shipping discount (you pay $3 for the shipping or something like that) which is unfair because now if you want to offer a discount of 10% it now cost you 30% + $3!! Not fair I don’t think, especially for shirts that don’t even weigh a lb!!
They side with the sellers, would not recommend!!! I bought some shoes for my 18mo son, and when they arrived they were way too big. I set a filter on my search to only show baby size shoes, and the shoes I bought were labeled “5.5BB” on the size description. The shoes I received were 5.5 boys rather than baby/toddler. When I tried to return the item due to incorrect size description, Poshmark sided with the seller and charged me anyway. Even though I sent multiple pictures of the size tag and the shoes with a standard item for scale. SO FRUSTRATING. What a waste of money.
I just got an email saying that there was a breach at Poshmark and my email address was either sold or stolen. This is very concerning and hopefully someone will answer this. An app that I pay for to monitor these things notified me of this. It went on to tell me that my email address was found on the dark web. I hope it’s not true or there’s been no damage done. I have not noticed any difference yet. I’m not sure how else this can be checked but if I were you I would look into it.
Bad app with high fee 20% just for them.
Hi there I really like this app I have sold a few things on a couple of different accounts and I have bought a whole lot of stuff on this app, I mean a lot!!Only thing is is that 20% that’s a whole bunch of money taken from a lot of people who sell on here who don’t have a whole lot of money. Seems to me that considering how many people use this app that a 10% fee would be sufficient and come on over seven dollars for shipping? Shipping should be based on the weight of the item. So where is the extra money for shipping going? Because you know it doesn’t cost that much to ship a T-shirt that you can put in a envelope and ship for three stamps maybe four. Whoever gets paid for this site must be getting millions of dollars and kudos to them for that but wow greedy
