Before Wizard, analyzing a data set required either learning an arcane command syntax, or else filling out a series of tedious forms. Wizard Pro changed all that with an easy-to-use interface that offered instantaneous results, publication-quality graphics, and a highly productive document format that helped thousands of customers discover and communicate insights in their data imported from over a dozen legacy file formats.
Wizard 2 is the biggest update to Wizard in eight years, and represents a significant leap forward in Wizard's graphics, interface, and functionality. It is designed to be a welcome upgrade for existing Wizard users, and an accessible entry point to statistics on Mac for everybody else.

NEW CONTROLS – The Raw Data interface now supports Copy/Paste, Find/Replace, rectangular selections, and full keyboard navigation. The renovated Summary interface puts the focus on your data with larger graphics. The reimagined Predict interface shows you a screenful of response curves at once - drag one slider and watch the predicted outcomes shift up and down in concert.
NEW COLORS – Kiss pastel goodbye, and say hello to a vibrant new palette that shines with Wizard 2's all-new Dark Mode (requires macOS 10.14 or later). Survival plots stand out with new support for an unlimited number of curves on a single graph.
NEW CORE – Ancient Fortran routines have been replaced with peer-reviewed C++. The lightning-fast OpenCL modeling engine has been completely rewritten and optimized for both Intel and Apple M1 architectures. Wizard 2 is ready for the next decade of statistical computation on Mac.
NEW CORRELATE INTERFACE – Do you sometimes wish for a high-level overview of all of your data? Meet the all-new Correlate interface, an interactive matrix that shows you the visual relationship (and correlation coefficient) between any two variables at a glance. Sit back and scroll through hundreds of histograms, scatterplots, and survival curves in seconds. Double-click any cell to jump straight to the Summary interface for more detailed analysis.
NEW IMPORTERS – Casual data sleuths will enjoy the new HTML table importer, accessible from a new Share extension in your web browser. Preview data tables on Wikipedia or other websites in a couple of clicks, and open them in Wizard 2 instantly. Fans of Claris FileMaker will flip for the new FileMaker Pro importer, which can read databases all the way back to FileMaker 7. And analysts who work with Microsoft SQL Server will celebrate the new SQL Server connector – fully compatible with Azure SQL Database.
In addition, Wizard 2 has dozens of smaller touches to increase your productivity, including updated icons, autosaved documents, QuickLook support for ten file formats, color-coded data cells, a unified Column Properties inspector, notifications when long-running imports finish, and an all-new model-building interface accessible directly from the toolbar. Wizard 2 is designed to retain your familiar Wizard workflows, while making the program more pleasurable to use and more productive overall.
